Play as Darkseid

Successfully complete DC Story mode. Then, press RB at the character selection screen. Note: Darkseid does not have any Heroic Brutalities.

Play as Shao Kahn

Successfully complete Mortal Kombat Story mode. Then, press RB at the character selection screen. Note: Shao Kahn does not have any Fatalities.
