Gamescom 2011 PlayStation Vita Trailers Round-Up

I’ve brought the best of what Gamescom had to offer for the PlayStation Vita, with some pretty cool trailers for upcoming games for the Sony portable.

Gamescom 2011 has brought us so many delightful things: a PlayStation 3 price cut, an awesome Uncharted 3 trailer, and right now below for your viewing pleasure, a prime choice of game trailers for the PlayStation Vita.

All these games I’ve collected for you are slated to be release sometime around the Vita’s early 2012 launch. And I really do hope that’s the case, because they look absolutely sweet — like a strawberry cheesecake milkshake with whip topping and a cherry on top. Mmm… yummy.

Oh and you really must check out the trailer for Uncharted: Golden Abyss, SCE Bend Studio’s portable take on the Naughty Dog series starring Nathan Drake. The game is actually set before the events of Drake’s Fortune and has Mr. Drake searching for treasure in the depths of what seem to be the Mayan ruins (possibly?) with a new leading lady, Merca Chase. As if Drake need more love complications in his life.

The rest of the trailers feature some excellent previews for upcoming PlayStation Vita games: such as Studio Liverpools’ Wipeout 2048, BigBig Studios’ Little Deviants, a game that’s also on my top list of candidates for day-one purchases, Jonathan Mak’s (creator of Everyday Shooter) Sound Shapes, plus a few more videos for brilliant measure.

Enjoy, mi amigos! Or should I say, meine freunde! (That’s German for my friends. M’kay.)
