Little Sackboy’s PS3 Day Out!!

Fresh reports have just come in about our friend Sackboy from the Little Big Planet, who was apparently so bored of us playing around with him that it seems he just jumped out of the screen and had a blast for himself! It is reported that he just popped out of the game and straightaway headed to something that would give him a peace of mind, he just shot at the PS3 controller, took control over it and began playing some of his favorite games, shocking visuals of the incident have just been recovered and it seems that our friend is having a great time out there!

You might probably realize that all of this did not happen really and that everything stated above was just a mock up, but if you did actually fall for it then I guess that you are as dumb as a rock, but never mind lets get into the actual details of these shocking visuals, shall we? A fun seeking individual named Francesc Torres bought this cool Sackboy toy on eBay and then set it up like you see in the pictures, and it is quite clear that everyone likes it, not only our little friend Sackboy but also his adventurous outing complete with a Date with the PS3!

I have always thought that Sackboy was cute but never in my life have I thought he would make me so hungry and actually look so appetizing as Bento box.

Sackboy was recreated by Anna The Red recently and became a Bento Lunchbox that seems too tasty to pass up. In his famous and worldwide stance, Sackboy from Little Big Planet is smiling, waving, and captures our hearts…I mean tummies. Almost as cute as the Spock Sackboy.

We’ve seen Sackboys, we’ve seen Sackgirls, but now we’re seeing sack-turtles…That’s right, those mean, green fighting machines have now been made into Sackboys. It’s fun to see how creative people are getting with the Sackboys. First they made Sackboy Hats for him, later they showed What Sackboy is Made of to show the inside workings, now the trend seems to be moving towards Sackboy Action Figures and even Spock Sackboy. Now the Sackboy has been caught in some toxic ooze and mutated into the Teenage Mutant Ninja Sack-Turtles! LittleBigPlanet predict that the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles level pack has about a 11% chance of actually being released, but if they are, they will look like this:

Pretty Awesome isnt’ it? Complete with armor, bo-staff and everything!!!

Before LBP actually releases them though, a bunch of people have actually started making them by themselves.

Sackie Doll Does a Left 4 Dead Gig

How would you turn a topic that involves someone as cute as Sackboy dark and depressing? Well, you can dress him up in Left 4 Dead costume or you could turn him into one of the infected! These four pictures here show Sackie with all the four survivors and he seems to be infected himself! While the apocalyptic situation already seems to have gotten out of hand if one were to look at these pictures, it seems even more apocalyptic for us PS3 fans who still can’t play the awesome Left 4 Dead on our consoles.

It would be interesting to have all the great games available on other consoles on PS3 as well, so that we have the best of everything. Nevertheless, it is just lovely to see Sackie’s mouth dripping of some infected stuff and the rest of the survivors posing for a mug shot.

While I can’t really tell how the story concludes, I can only say that these pictures must encourage developers and guys at PS3 to get Left 4 Dead on PlayStation. Sackboy from Little Big Planet has definitely encouraged a lot of people to design costumes for him. The Vitruvian Sackboy is a take on Leonardo da Vinci’s famous drawing. You could also take a look at the Sackboy Costumes in Metal Gear Characters. Christmas might be far away, but Sackie in Santa Costume is totally hilarious!

Vitruvian Sackboy Heralds New Renaissance

When Leonardo da Vinci drew the Vitruvian Man, he had no idea that someone would create a similar drawing for Sackboy. Sackboy’s legs have been similarly drawn apart, and comes with two superimposed positions. Just like the original Vitruvian Man, the Vitruvian Sackboy has both his arms and legs drawn apart and a circle and a square are simultaneously inscribed.

The original drawing was significant because it exposed the intricacies between science and art and the spirit of inquiry which was the hallmark of renaissance movement. There seems to be a modern form of renaissance where people have begun to question the ordinary and traditional forms of entertainment and even older video games, and thus started to see new light and hope in the form of Little Big Planet and such other cool geeky games.

Perhaps the modern renaissance is all about the blend of geek and non-geek in 21st century. This Vitruvian Sackboy was uploaded by Gamergates who claims that it was recently uncovered at the Academia in Venice. The tale is certainly tall, but many hundred years later, this Vitruvian Sackboy will stand as testimony to the culture of Video games and Little Big Planet.

If you would like a less permanent way to glorify him, you should get yourself the Sackboy Tattoo, which would be destroyed along with your body once you pass away. Sackboy art, costumes and other memorabilia have become so priceless that we had also reported the Sackboy Costume Theft sometime ago. Indeed, one should be blessed to be living during the reign of Sackboy, the catalyst of a new Renaissance.

Sackboy X-Wing Rebel Pilot 3D Representation

A long time ago, on a little big planet Sackboy wished he had many different costumes to wear and his desires have come true in such a way that even a 3D artist like 3dchris89 has created a 3D work dedicated to the most loved gaming character ever. Titled Rebel Pilot, Sackboy does not look cute or pretty like he always does, but looks more like a tron or bot from the Star Wars as was intended, in the 3D representation. The work was done in order to win a competition and the goal was to turn Sackboy into something very innovative.

The goal certainly has been achieved with Sackboy looking amazingly different and robot-like. The modder decided to turn him into an X-Wing Pilot from the Star Wars and required about 5 days in all to create this cool 3D representation of X-Wing Pilot. The way his helmet has been designed is particularly praise worthy and it is not just one Sackboy in the 3D work but several mini-ones complementing each other.

One cannot but wonder why Sackboy is so versatile and can don any costume human mind can possibly think of. You could build a costume too, on your desktop and all that you would need some coffee which you could gulp down with the help of Sackboy Cup Comforter. If suddenly morbid thoughts about Sackboy’s innards occur in your mind, don’t fret. Just go ahead and check out What Sackboy is Made Of. Sackboy Cake Looks Delicious!

Kelli, has made a Sackboy using flour, sugar and icing. Yes, someone has baked a Sackboy cake, which not only looks uber-delicious but also looks very cute. She baked it for a friend’s birthday and it was a lemon pudding cake with chocolate fudge, but the only difference being the cake looked a tad too similar to Sackboy.

This brings me to the next question of why Sackboy has become so popular especially in the kitchen. Perhaps his cuteness has resulted in him looking more edible than other gaming characters like Wolverine who still has not made an appearance straight out of the oven. The next step would be to create a drink or even a perfume dedicated to Sackboy, I suspect. Coming back to the cake, Sackboy looks quite happy and comfy, with his zippers and trademark smile.

However, little would he know he would be eaten up, part by part by hungry birthday revelers and digested easily. Somehow it does not seem cute anymore, does it? There have been other cakes as well, which have been inspired by the whole gaming industry. There were these yummy looking PS3 Cakes, which would give any baker a run for his money. The Crash Bandicoot Cake makes me so hungry I just have to visit the kitchen now.

There has been a barrage of Sackboy related art and now we are slowly beginning to see a number of Sackboy merchandise as well. One of the examples of such art is the number of Sackboy Costumes we have already seen. In addition, the Sackgirl Doll is a true eye opener about how Sackboy’s girl might look like.

The fans of Little Big Planet must be the luckiest ones for there are now even Sackboy Cup Comforters designed by SarahBeeCreations. Sackboy Costumes and Metal Gear Solid 4 Characters

It was only a matter of time until Metal Gear Solid 4 Characters would invade Little Big Planet with new Sackboy Costumes.

We have seen some Snake Sackboy Costume Designs before in the Sackboy Costume Collection but these are real and coming alive. On December 18th on Japan PSN, new Metal Gear Solid Sackboys including a level pack will be available.

This new addition will bring Snake alive and also Meryl, Screaming Mantis, and Raiden. These are beautiful new characters that are sure to bring Little Big Planet fans and Metal Gear fans together. Just look at these new guys, they are great.

For other Sackboys, be sure to checkout the Christmas Sackboy Santa Claus and also the Street Fighter Sackboys.
