While everyone has been eagerly waiting for UFC 2009 Undisputed to be released on May 19, many would be surprised to know that it is the first game to be released after THQ signed an agreement with UFC in 2007.

The demo which was released on April 23 revealed that there are many fighting styles included in the game. Boxing isn’t the only style and alternative fighting aficionados would be glad to know that Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, Judo, Kickboxing, Wrestling and Muay Thai are included in the list.

A cooler feature is that if one is not satisfied with being able to play just one of these styles, one can combine two different styles at once and play. Many have reported that Jiu Jitsu and Muay Thai is an interesting combination while others have disagreed. However, the best combination really seems to be this pair as one can not only combine ancient Eastern fighting techniques expressed in Muay Thai but also combine these skills with the grappling and ground fighting techniques of Brazilian Jiu Jitsu.

When the final version of the game would be released on May 19th, one can experience these different combinations of fighting styles in a better way. meanwhile, the demo version of the game has already become popular all across the world. It is also being touted as one of the more violent games to be launched this year.
