Video Game Cakes! We all might have had our huge share of them this holiday season and I personally have been on a virtual cake diet for this whole holiday season, and have had pretty much everything, from the traditional Rum Cake to all the other fancy ones at the bakery.so much that I’m almost sick of them right now, and that was until I saw this- The PS3 Cake, something that caught my eye and left my tongue sticking out of my mouth salivating profusely!, that went a little over the hedge, right?

But, a look at the cake surely makes every one long for a piece, all thanks to the evil black overcoat of icing and the delicious looking controller coming as an add on, and not to forget the two games that come free with it- The GTA 4 and The Lord Of The Rings. The cake is created by Debbiedoescakes a very popular person in the-’making themed cakes’, industry, and as always she has not let her clients down, two lucky brothers who obviously would have enjoyed their time.

Also you should have a look at the other cakes listed on our catalog and decide which one is the best, like the Crash Bandicoot cake or the cool Sackboy cake that has been shown through it’s various stages of evolution. Not that we have not seen few cakes that have been inspired by PS3 or Playstation products, but this one here just caught me off guard. The Playstation 3 Cake baked by Xtra Special looks quite crude but on a deeper look, it seems to be one of the most genuine and honest cakes around. It is almost like the rough on the outside, but delicious inside kind of story.

It has been baked for the 12th birthday of a Call of Duty fan. The cake consists of a PS3 console which is baked to perfection with even Sony and Playstation words written on it. The controller looks pretty crude too, and makes me wonder if the cake was baked for the 12 year old kid or the kid himself or herself baked it.

Nevertheless, it must be one of the more interesting and tastier cakes a sweet toothed gamer can bite into. While I try to understand the dynamics between cakes and video games, you could check out some of the other cakes that we have featured earlier. You could check out the Yummy PS3 Controller Cake which could make any child or adult go weak in the knees. The Sackboy Cake will turn any gamer into a glutton.

Food plays an important part of our life…in fact it totally reflects our personality and our likes and dislikes, so what better way to celebrate one’s Birthday, than having a cake shaped in the form of their favorite console: PS3 controller cake.

Lets Bake Some Cake clearly reveals to us how one luck person got a PS3 cake that completely resembled his all time favorite PS3 gaming controller, on his birthday, much more appealing than any other present that he might have received.

The cake is Vanilla Flavored with Fondant, while all the pieces and the main body have been decorated with the fondant, the writing and the symbols/logo have been done in piping gel. The cake is so col and awesome that I bet that the respective person might have had thought twice before even cutting into it.

But still this could turn out to be one really cool birthday surprise for any one who have a very close relationship with their gaming consoles. There are many more such talented people around the world who engage into such creative activity like this person who has made herself a really cool PS3 controller Bento, with such great effort that she might have hardly had the heart to eat it!. The first Playstation 3 cake from CubedFood is simple enough and just gets our Playstation 3 taste buds going.

On the first Anniversary of the Playstation 3, Punchbutton got a piece of this game console cake.

with the controller and game accompanying this PS3 cake Jennyc made, I cannot stop and think what a great creation the actual Playstation 3 is to inspire such a cake.

Lilthorner has made a cake that seems heavier and larger than the actual console. On a good note, the controller is made of Rice Krispies Treats.
