With the possibility of traveling far distances to meet up with loved ones, visiting pests relatives about to occupy your home, or spending way too much time in the kitchen slaving over a turkey, Thanksgiving week is bound to be a hectic one for many of us celebrating it. (Be thankful it comes once a year!)

So really, the last thing you want to do is fish around the web for Black Friday deals, of which there will be in much supply come this Friday, November 25^th. That’s why we’ve gone ahead and rounded up every PlayStation 3 sale from every retailer participating and posted them below. We were thinking of giving you a can of cranberry sauce instead, but I think you’ll agree this is much better.

Off the bat, you might notice that the headlining deal that every outfit is sharing in is a $200 PlayStation 3 bundle featuring Ratchet & Clank All 4 One and LittleBigPlanet 2, but only ToysRus is adding in a free PS3 wireless controller with that order. Ideally that would be the best deal, but honestly, any shop you decide to go to on either Friday or Saturday will fit your PS3 wants, if need be.

Remember, some deals might change on the fly — so as the old saying goes, first come, first serve!

Best Buy

The largest electronics retail chain in North America will open its doors at midnight (12:00 am) on Friday, where three of the biggest games this year, Battlefield 3, Uncharted 3: Drakes Deception, and Batman: Arkham City have been slashed down to $30 each.

Surprisingly ToysRus will get a jump start on the competition by opening — or rather — starting their Black Friday extravaganza three hours early (9:00 pm Thursday night). What’s also surprising though, is the selection of deals; which I mean there is hardly none of besides the aforementioned PS3 bundle for $200 (this one gives you a free wireless controller, probably a third party one though). I do like the buy one PS3 game, buy another for five dollars offer — yet the catalog of what to choose over is slim pick’ins. Aw, shucks!

Again! Open at midnight. Now, what’s really good here is Walmart’s variety of $10 – $15 games (I spy Yakuza 4 at $10 — holy moly), plus they beat every retailer by selling Batman: Arkham City and Battlefield 3 for two dollars less ($28 each). Which I guess is cool, if your care about saving every shopping dollar you can.

Yup, also open at midnight. Actually, Target’s first year in doing so. Goes to show how all this Black Friday madness has caused quite stir for U.S. retailers that want every shopping dollar they can get. Disappointingly, nothing too special here — but for picking up Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim or Rayman Origins you do get a ten dollar gift card; that’s kinda nice, maybe.

Sony may release 2 Black Friday PS3 Bundles at Thanksgiving

Sony may be gearing up for Black Friday by offering two new PS3 bundles that will be hitting the shelves the day after Thanksgiving.

According to our source, some photos revealing the two new bundles were leaked to the internet from a Sony media package that it was sending to retailers in anticipation of the sale.

The first bundle, dubbed the “Complete Entertainment Package” will feature a 160 GB PS3, along with a controller and the games Little Big Planet 2 and Ratchet & Clank: All 4 One.

The second bundle will be called the “Mayhem Edition”, and will be a Playstation Move focused package. This bundle will ship with Killzone 3 and Resistance 3, along with the Sharpshooter motion control peripheral.

Black Friday is the single largest day of consumer shopping in the United States, generally focusing on consumer electronics and other hardware. Normally people go crazy for televisions, stereos and the like, while gaming consoles have mostly sat in the background.

Recently however, the big three of gaming (Sony, Microsoft and Nintendo) have been trying to steal a bit of the spotlight. Black Friday traditionally kicks off the beginning of the Christmas and holiday shopping season in the United States, so with any luck big gaming bundles like this won’t be the last of the holiday sales we get this year.

Resident Evil 5 PS3 Bundle is coming to Japan, named Biohazard as the Japanese name for the game!

With the much anticipated wait for Resident Evil 5 to finally come out for the PS3, Japan is on top of the game with a cool Playstation 3 bundle. The new RE5 console has its own cool design, brand, and powerful name, Biohazard, which fits this new game completely…especially if you see the PS3 Resident Evil 5 Trailers. In addition, it includes a 80 GB console and 2 Dual Shock controllers.

It seems Japan have some great PS3 News to be happy about: the Yakuza 3 Playstation 3 Bundle will arrive with a Limited Edition Dragon artwork on the console.

This Dragon PS3 console is a beautiful find. It sports Yakuza 3 tattoo-like dragons on its cover in a great style and elegance. Those that have not got their hand on this actual gaming console yet could be extremely happy with this upcoming release and it’s theme.

We have previously seen the Yakuza 3 Trailer for the PS3, and now we have something further to look forward to…a Yakuza 3 Playstation 3 Bundle.

The new Yakuza 3 PS3 Bundle will be a Limited Edition with only 10,000 units and will arrive as a White Ceramic Gaming Console. It is expected to be released on February 26th in Japan, along with the actual PS3 game’s release. This new Playstation 3 Bundle will run approximately $500.

PS3 Bundles are always a fun way to start the obsession with the Playstation 3 game console, and this new Pro Evolution 2009 Bundle is a nice introduction.

The Pro Evolution PS3 Bundle is a great way to introduce the system and get the players literally hooked on a new video game…an extremely competitive and addictive one.
