Kratos is back, and more pissed than ever before! Or, not really, it just so happens that this time around we get contrast with actual human emotions such as regret and guilt.

The SuperBowl isn’t just about football anymore, and even gamers got a treat in the form of a God of War trailer entirely done in Live-Action to preview the upcoming title in the series, called God of War: Ascension. Sony had aired a teaser before, but now we actually get to see the whole thing, and our questions were answered: yes, it was God of War related, no, we don’t have any PS4 news at the moment, and yes, we’re excited as hell because this looks incredible.

What Is The Latest Sony Teaser Exactly Teasing? God Of War: Ascension?

Sony has silently uploaded a new video to their youtube channel simply called “Game Day 2013 Teaser”. What is this all about?

Warning! Speculation up ahead: Sony uploaded a short clip (just a mere 16 seconds ad) showing a woman in a white dress, walking on a hill. Her clothes, and something that looks like ash (as well as the camera quickly cutting to a close-up of an eye) makes us think this could be related to Kratos, the God of War, the Ghost of Sparta. The date “February 1, 2013” appears at the end. so hey, we’re almost there. The video itself is titled Game Day 2013 Teaser.

It could very likely be a God of War ad, being that the most recent title in the series, God of War: Ascension, is about to come out next March on PlayStation 3. Still, could it be anything else? Some people hinted there might be an entirely unrelated and yet-unannounced God of War game (maybe for the Vita!), while other camp says this could be related to the eventual arrival of the PlayStation 4 / Playstation Orbis. We can see that, you know? “From the ashes of the PS3, blah blah blah”. What do you think this is all about?

PSP God of War Collection Coming to PS3

PSP God of War Collection Coming to PS3

Sony announced that a single Blu-Ray collection of the PSP God of War titles will be making it’s way to PS3s this fall.

Not to be confused with God of War: Collection, which saw the original PS2 God of War games repackaged for the PS3, God of War Collections, as this title will be called, will contain the PSP God of War games. Both God of War: Ghosts of Sparta and God of War: Chains of Olympus will be contained on a single Blu-Ray and receive full high definition remastering, including 1080p display, stereoscopic 3D support and new PSN Trophies.

Both collections will largely play and handle as they did on the PSP, only with the arguably more versatile DualShock 3 controllers along with rumble support. Overall, players can expect the same dark story of personal redemption and revenge in all of its violent glory.

Bonus content that was previously released through DLC for Ghosts of Sparta will also be included free of charge in the collection.

One thing that is refreshing about this announcement is that it will signal one of the first times that PSP titles will be made available on Blu-Ray to PS3 owners in North America. Up until now the majority of ports and remasters have been limited to the Japanese gaming market. One can only wonder and hope if Sony will be giving the same treatment to more of its PSP titles, including other fan favourites such as Final Fantasy VII: Crisis Core. Perhaps if this collection sells well enough over here, we can all relive some more of the PSP classics in full HD.

God of War Collection Epically Headed To The PlayStation Network

From Blu-ray to digital download; an excellent collection of blockbuster action games, from the God of War series, will soon be smashing their way to the PlayStation Network.

Set the date on your smart phone of choice for Tuesday November 2nd, because the PlayStation Blog just announced from the mountain tops that God of War Collection is going to hit the PlayStation Store on the very same day that another Greek God killing game, for the PlayStation Portable, is also due.

That game is God of War: Ghost of Sparta, the next PlayStation Portable release in the mega successful, mega violent, third-person action series starring that lovable demigod Kratos. Ghost of Sparta is set after events of the first God of War game, in-which you are tasked to take down the original God of War – Ares.

Thankfully if none of these Greek shenanigans make any sense, or you just need a quick story refresher, then downloading the God of War Collection, next month, is just for you.

Remastered in stunning 720p resolution, the God of War Collection contains both God of War games (God of War – 2005 & God of War II – 2007 ) that first appeared on the Sony PlayStation 2.

Incredibly the amount of polish — anti-aliased graphics, much improved frame rate, and PlayStation Network trophies — that were spent on the single Blu-ray disc edition is so awesome looking – it definitely warrants a second play through to experience the enhancements.

Unfortunately, not everything could make the journey to the digital frontier that is the PlayStation Network. Sadly you won’t be getting the special features that were included on the Blu-ray disc back in November 2009.

I guess that’s just the price you pay for the ease of simply downloading a great two game package, the God of War Collection, off of the PlayStation Network. Oh well — all part of life’s rich pageant, you know.

Which City Would the God of Sneakers Try and Destroy?

It has been quite some time since we saw sneakers that were completely geeky and out of the world. The God of Sneakers pays tributes to one of the best and most played action-adventure games till now, God of War.

The game created a buzz back then in 2005 when players were taken over by Greek mythology and the adventures of Kratos who has to save Athens from the God of War, Ares. The sneakers have been designed by Jacob Patterson and he did not stop at just giving the sneakers a paintjob, but managed to get chain laces that come with Blades of Olympus and even a signature of Stig Asmussen.

Stig is the director of God of War III and apparently was just too happy with the God of Sneakers himself. Now, It would be worthwhile to see if the God f Sneakers would try and “destroy” the city in which the wearer walks! You could also take a look at the Kratos inspired My Litte Pony, or just read about how cool God of War III really is.

The My Little Pony series is meant to be for little 6 to 10 year old girls. Well everyone thought that until now. Get ready to be disturbed and utterly amazed by the Kratos My Little Pony figure. Most people, gamers, know the name Kratos from the God of War franchise. And when people say the name it’s never anything nice that comes after it since he’s now known as the ghost of Sparta. Kratos is a very evil spirit/ghost and is everyone’s favorite character in God of War. If you’ve seen him in God of War you might remember him as an ashy grey evil god. He was fighting in the Olympus war to try and rescue his wife and daughter from Hades, another god in God of War. While in the intense battle he accidentally took the lives of his wife and daughter and was then forced to cover his body in there ashes. He then starts going after Hades to give him his soul and get his family back, which is all that he wants. In the end though, after a long story, Kratos kills Hades with the help of Athena, and makes everything better once again.

Anyway lets stop talking about God of War. Lets get into the mind of the Little Pony which is meant to be a resemblance of Kratos, and in my opinion I don’t think any little girls would like, unless their mentally disturbed and love toys that are from violent 18+ video games. But all this in a gamers eyes is just awesome, especially for a huge God of War fan like me, or you. Below is the picture of the ‘pony’. In my eyes it looks like the ghost of Kratos accidentally road killed a little adorable pony and put its soul into it. That way it could easily take revenge.

So as you can see it does look pretty strange, but as stated before even though it looks freaky, I for one love it. Over all Kratos did a good job over powering a My Little Pony because it takes a lot of strength and power to take down one of these, and I certainly couldn’t.

God Of War 3 Is Truly The God Of All Games

The title itself says it all because this one is the god of all games. This God of War III is the fifth game and the final chapter of the successful God of War series. After the four devastating parts of this series, God of War III has already won the award of the Most Anticipated Game of 2010.

The game play has been expected to be similar to the previous games. As you know that God of War II ended by Kratos the protagonist, Gaia and the Titans who were marching towards Mount Olympus. God of War III’s story will end the story of Kratos’ effort to wipe out Olympus. With falling meteors and enemies like the undead, centaur, chimera, a Cyclops and the god of underworld i.e. Hades.

Till now three main weapons have been conformed which are a fire bow, a pair of trademark Blades of Athena, and the Cestus. The developers had said that they will be adding more weapons. This time Kratos will have a greater challenge because he will have to fight fifty enemies as contrasting to the maximum of 15 in the earlier game.

With an outstanding story, excellent graphics and making the gaming areas up to 4 times larger then the area which had been explored by Kratos in god of war II, this is truly the excellence of all games. Its detailed and unique 3D world with brutal battles, puzzles will surely take the player into a different world. Its release dates have been confirmed to 16^th march so if you really want to try it then have to bear $99.99 and enjoy it with your PS3 because it’s worth it. Kratos The God Of War Just Had A Cute Sackboy Makeover!

Kratos the main protagonist of the massively popular Playstation game God of War just had the cutest makeover he could possibly have, all in the form of a cute and cuddly crotched Sackboy action figure that has it’s standard grumpy look on it’s face and hungry for his revenge. This cool piece of art has been created by Magyss, a really talented artist who obviously specializes in doing crotched work pieces.

This cool Kratos figure has a high resemblance to the actual character from the game like the chained swords to Kratos’s arms and the swords that can be strapped on his back. The jagged edged swords and the chain trim give this figure a high appeal on it’s looks and cool grumpy expression on his face makes it clear that he is in no mood to kid around!

His custom painted and sculpted polymer clay swords which can be handheld or cross slung across the back add a huge deal of attitude to the character. He even has a cool crotched tattoo that gives him his unique identity, so no one will ever look down on him.

We all know how bad-ass Kratos is from the God of War games, so it is great to see a little change with a Might Muggs figure of Kratos which is a little more adorable.

This cool Kratos figure is a custom made Might Mugg that still remains true to the anger and restlessness he embodies, but in a fatter and oversized way. In addition, Kratos is still allowed to keep his weapons and armor in a way that is made perfectly for the ocute version of Kratos.

Along with the anger, the things that have not changed are the blood splatter on his body and the war decorations.

Some things never get old and they never lose their popularity either. One such is the cult status achieving God of War video game series. While two sequels have already been released, a third one is expected in sometime. Before the third is released, the God of War Collection, which would come with God of War 1 and God of War 2 on Blu-ray disc. The games have been remastered at 720p and you could enjoy anti-aliased graphics for 60 frames per second gameplay.

You could also win trophies and seek help after winning each title. The games are really adventurous and if you still have not got the games, you could begin with the God of war: Collection for PS3, which would prepare you for the third sequel. The cool collection would be out on 17th of November and would cost you $36.99, which you can pre-order right away in order to avoid the holiday rush.

This action-adventure game is based on Greek mythology and you could be sure that you could check out some video game characters who literally look like “Greek Gods”. We had already read that God of War 3 Trailer reveals some really brutal content. There also would be a God of War 3 Collector’s Edition about which we had written too. I am sure this fall is going to be anything but boring!
