Wow the person who wrote this article has no clue what is actually going on. The Jailbreak can block system updates. so everyone who has been jail breaking, are still doing it.

It seems that the writer knows very litlle about the ps3 jailbreaking scene. The jailbreak is a strong as ever..it was never stopped by sony. The firmware update is only manadatory if you want to play online. Many did not upgarde their firmware and are enjoying homebrew, backing up of their games on the hardrive etc.
Please do your research before publishing!

Why are all these articles going on about how sony have stopped the jailbreak? They have stopped nothing, if you don’t update then you can still do anything you want with a 3.41 console. So playing backups, running homebrew, whatever yo want is possible. There is no way to stop it now.
