The foam balls on the end remind me of those trick ice cream cones where the “ice cream” is a foam ball that you can fire out of the cone as a gag.

Sony should add that feature. It would come in handy as the ultimate insult after beating someone at a fighting game.

I wouldn’t say it’s Nintendo’s concept. The idea has been around since the beginning of gaming. People want to escape reality and this takes you that much further into the game. On top of this they aren’t falling back they are innovating by using the coloured balls to better increase the EYEtoy’s accuracy. By they way, you are a TROLL!
